The total distance across the 6 days is significant, with Day 3 and Day 6 being the longest driving days (approximately 7–9 hours each). However, the route is broken up with frequent stops at major attractions, photo opportunities, and lunch breaks.
The Tizi n’Tichka pass has many winding hairpin turns. If you’re prone to motion sickness, tell the operator when booking and consider bringing medication.
Private tours can stop more often for breaks if needed. The ever-changing landscapes—from snow-capped peaks to palm oases to golden dunes to alpine forests—make the time pass quickly.
